- The portal opens annually from 1 October to 1 December for the following year’s September/October intake, so starting your research in July or August is not too early
- You can apply to up to seven master’s programmes and three bachelor’s programmes in the same application, which meaningfully improves your odds
- Required uploads include your international passport, CV, admission letter (once you have one), full transcripts, and your WAEC or NECO certificate, since Campus France checks these against your uploaded academic history rather than running a separate PIN-verification system
Once your file is validated, usually within two weeks, you pay a non-refundable Campus France fee, ₦50,000 for most applicants or ₦15,000 for confirmed Nigerian government scholarship beneficiaries, before you can book the preliminary interview. Universities respond with admission decisions by 30 April, and you then have until 31 May to accept an offer. Miss that date and the platform treats your silence as a refusal, even if you simply forgot to log back in.
