TotalEnergies International Masters Scholarship France

TotalEnergies runs one of the more reliably funded routes into French postgraduate engineering study for Nigerian graduates, functioning as much as a corporate talent pipeline as a scholarship, and it has placed more than 151 Nigerians in French master’s programmes since the scheme began in 2004.

Current status:

  • The 2026/2027 cycle closed 31 January 2026
  • Funding is full, covering tuition, accommodation, a return flight, visa costs, and a monthly stipend
  • Eligibility requires a minimum 2:1 degree classification obtained within the last five years, and completed NYSC

Because this scholarship exists to feed graduates directly into TotalEnergies’ own global operations, your application should read like a genuine long-term fit with the company, not just an interest in France. The application itself is free, there is no bank of past exam questions since the shortlisting test format changes every year, and TotalEnergies does not accredit agents to help you apply, so treat anyone charging a fee to “guarantee” a spot as a scam.

Watch for the next window opening in the new year. For the parallel domestic-facing scheme, see TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship Scheme.
